Bidoof Amigurumi Pattern

Bidoof Pokemon Amigurumi - crochet pattern by loopycathrine

I’m so happy to finally be sharing my Bidoof pattern with you. There are so many small pieces to crochet… The actual crocheting doesn’t take too long, but sewing each small piece onto the body felt like a huge and endless task to take on. I get in my head a lot, and was clearly just being dramatic. But I should say since a lot of the pieces are so small and awkward to attach on camera, I didn’t film those parts.

This has been one of my favourite makes in the last year. Not to toot my own horn, but I think it turned out so cute!

I hope you enjoy making your own Bidoof! Don’t forget to tag me in your post and use #loopycathrineamigurumi so I can easily see your makes. You are more than welcome to follow along over on Instagram. That’s where you can see my latest makes and teasers of all the patterns that are coming. And if you want to subscribe over on YouTube I would be ever so grateful!

Now let’s get into details on the pattern!

My Bidoof pattern consists of two YouTube tutorials:

Part 1 | Head & Body, Snout, Eyes & ‘Mask” (Sun, 15 Dec at 17:00GMT)

Part 2 | Final Details - Ears, Bobble Beard etc (Sun, 22 Dec at 17:00GMT)

You will find that I have made one female and one male Bidoof. You can distinguish this by the tail. Female Bidoof has three pieces, whilst the Male Bidoof has five. So my regular Bidoof is Female and the shiny Bidoof is male.

ASSEMBLY

Assemble Bidoof in the same order the pattern is written. I like to use screenshots from PokemonGo and use these as references to try to get the best likeness to the character. Pin all the pieces in place before sewing to make sure it looks right, including the felt pieces. Once all the crocheted pieces are attached use fabric glue to attach the felt pieces.
