Wooper Christmas Mash-up

Want to make your own Christmas inspired Pokemon? Wooper the red nosed Pokemon!You will need to make the following (items for the original Wooper crossed out):

Wooper Amigurumi by loopycathrine

YARN & HOOK

  • 2mm hook

  • Stylecraft Special DK, Colours: Cloud Blue Mocha, Parma Violet Walnut, and Claret

  • 9mm safety eyes, optional: white uni posca marker to make white pupils

  • Dark blue felt

  • Fabric glue

  • Dark blue Black embroidery

  • Polyester toy filling

  • Pins

  • Darning needle

  • Stitch markers (I prefer using scrap yarn as “stitch markers”)

THE PATTERN

Mocha replaces Cloud blue, Walnut replaces Parma Violet and you will also be using Stylecraft Special DK in Claret to create Rudolph's red noseFollow the instructions in the original pattern here, and updated Fishbone "ears" and a brand, new red nose below.

FISHBONE "EARS" - MALE VERSION

Yarn: Mocha

Make 2

ch 2, ch 5, sl st in the second ch from hook, sl in the next 3 chains, ch 2, *ch 5, sl st in the second ch from hook, sl in the next 3 chains**, repeat *to** three times in total, sl st into the next 2 unworked chains, ch 5, sl st in the second ch from hook, sl in the next 3 chains, sl st in the very first two chains made. Fasten off and leave long end for sewing.

RED RUDOLPH NOSE

Yarn: Claret

Round 1: dc 4 in Magic Ring (4)

R2: inc in all sts around (8)

R3: dec in all sts around (4)

Tighten the hole by Fasten off, and leave long end for sewing. Attach the nose once all the other parts have been sewn onto the body .
